By using ReceiptOnChain, you agree to these Terms.
1. Definitions
- Service: ReceiptOnChain platform
- User: Any user of the Service
- Content: Data submitted or generated
- Crypto Data: Blockchain-related metadata
2. Service Description
ReceiptOnChain provides tools for generating receipts and record-keeping related to cryptocurrency transactions.
The Service is strictly a software tool. It does not process payments or provide financial services.
3. Non-Custodial & No Financial Services
ReceiptOnChain is a non-custodial, non-brokerage, and non-financial platform.
We do not:
- hold or manage funds
- execute blockchain transactions
- provide exchange, investment, tax, legal, or accounting services
- act as a financial intermediary
4. No Accounting or Tax Service
The Service is not an accounting, bookkeeping, or tax preparation tool.
We do not generate tax filings, financial statements, or legally recognized reports.
All outputs are for informational and record-keeping purposes only.
5. No Reliance on Outputs
You agree that:
- outputs may contain errors or omissions
- you will independently verify all information
- you will not rely on outputs as financial, legal, or tax advice
6. User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
- accuracy of all submitted data
- compliance with applicable laws and tax obligations
- verifying all generated receipts and reports
- determining how to report transactions to authorities
7. Data Accuracy & VerificationKey Clause
You acknowledge and agree that:
- the Service does not validate user inputs
- generated outputs are not guaranteed to be accurate
- you must independently verify all results before use
8. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Service to:
- engage in illegal or fraudulent activity
- facilitate tax evasion or misrepresentation
- generate falsified financial records
- abuse or disrupt the Service
9. User Content
You retain ownership of your data.
You grant us a limited license to operate the Service.
10. Intellectual Property
All Service infrastructure, software, and branding belong to ReceiptOnChain.
11. Third-Party Services
We use third-party providers for infrastructure and data.
We are not responsible for their performance or accuracy.
12. Crypto Data Disclaimer
Crypto and blockchain data may be:
- delayed
- incomplete
- inaccurate
- affected by network or indexing limitations
We do not guarantee correctness of:
- exchange rates
- blockchain data
- third-party API data
13. No Warranty
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- tax penalties or audits
- financial losses
- inaccurate data or outputs
- third-party failures
- indirect or consequential damages
We are not liable for any reliance on:
- user-submitted data
- generated receipts or reports
- third-party data sources
Total liability is limited to $100 USD or fees paid in the past 12 months.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify ReceiptOnChain against any claims arising from:
- your use of the Service
- your violation of laws or regulations
- tax authority audits, penalties, or disputes
- reliance on generated outputs
16. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access at any time.
You may stop using the Service at any time.
17. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use means acceptance.
18. Governing Law
Jurisdiction is the location of the Service operator.
